Qualifying in the ETCC finale at Dubai, 2004. "Looking back, that was one of my best laps ever because of the heat and pressure. It was the same sort of thing in the last races of the Spider and Hillclimbing in 1995 and 1999 when I wanted to win so badly and had no margin for errors. With touring cars, if you get qualifying right you're set for race 1, and then you can only look to the sky with the grid reversal for race 2. But to get that one qualifying lap in the bag took literally weeks of preparation."
