andy's charity work
Andy and his wife Jo are involved in a range of charity work, which they see as important to being part of their local community.
The main part of their activities is fundraising for their Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation. With support from sponsors and corporate brands, they have been able to raise some £40,000 for the charity since it was established.
The motivation for this is personal experience: Both of their children were born significantly premature and weighed under 4lbs. The support they received was amazing, but they could see that the time and effort that goes into the care of premature babies could be greatly assisted by improved local facilities.
An example of their work was the donation of £15,000 to the Guernsey Premature Baby Unit in April 2006 for a new monitor to enable the unit to accommodate more young babies at the hospital. This avoids little babies and their families having to be transferred to mainland Britain. (pictures supplied by Guernsey Evening Press)

Dyslexia can affect anyone, but even F1 Grand Prix world champions have overcome this disability with help and understanding. In another recent example of their charity involvement, Andy and Jo assisted in a fundraising Beach Party for the local Dyslexia Day Centre.
